The 2 course, 4 week, 6 credit elective curriculum will be based in Berlin Germany, a city rich in the architecture developmental history and innovation modern international design with travel around Germany Netherlands and Denmark included. Highlights are the modern architecture of Bjarke  Ingels  Group/  BIG in Copenhagen, Tours in Germany include work of Helmut Jahn, Coop Himmelblau, Herzog deMeuron and Frei Otto.  In Berlin revitalized Potsdamer Platz, Pariser Platz , Alexander Platz as well as tours of Dutch Embassy, OMA, GSW Builing bySauerbruch/Hutton are highlighted. Berlin, a city rich in neighborhoods, we will visit the pre-war Jewish quarter, new holocaust memorial and museum, the architecture of Albert Spear and new government office and residential development of the Tiergarten district.
